How to Apply Your Iron-On Fabric Patch

For best results, follow these steps! Patch should not be adhered to nylon, rayon, silk, satin, vinyl, or loose-knit materials.

Iron-On Application:

  1. Peel the paper backing from the patch to reveal the adhesive.
  2. Place the patch on the garment, adhesive side down.
  3. Cover with a thin cloth to protect the patch.
  4. Press firmly with a medium-hot iron (no steam) for 10-30 seconds. Time may vary, so check if the edges are glued every 10 seconds.
  5. Allow to cool, then press from the inside of the garment for an additional 30 seconds.
  6. Let cool completely before wearing or washing.
  7. Stitch around the perimeter of the patch if it is in a heavy wear area of your garment.

Care Instructions:

    • Turn the garment inside out before washing.
    • Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water.
    • Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
    • Tumble dry on low or hang to dry.
    • If the edges begin to lift, re-press with an iron or add a few stitches around the border.

With proper care, your patch will last longer! Happy crafting!
